Alison Plummer approached me about creating business cards and a variety of other handouts/flyers for her painting business. She was local and had a small business in a rural area. She hadn't expected anything like this, but she sure loved it when I showed it to her for the first time!

I created this logo and small-brand for a local contractor who specializes in energy efficiency. He made a few very successful campaigns pushing Massachusetts' energy efficient program where he launched his customer base off of the discounts that the state was offering. Very intelligent indeed. A year after I created these materials, he sold the busine$$ and retired.

This was a SUPER fun project and really reminded me why I do what I do. The client owns a small bed and breakfast in the heart of the Smith College area of Northampton, MA. She expressed her needs for a new sign and brochure and had planned on just printing the Word document that she had brought in. The brochure included some local hot spots and activities in walking distance. I decided to take it into my own hands and created a classy looking logo as well as transforming her idea into including restaurants, hot spots/clubs, food delivery, bars, taxis and transportation as well as a map of the area. It was hugely successful.

Using the same "small-brand" guidelines, I re-made their house rules poster as well.

This project was AWESOME to work on. The airport was in dire need of a new, spiffy looking gift certificate since the only thing they had "branded" was their logo. I took the idea of a gift certificate with companion brochure and created something truly awesome. There is an oddly sizedbrochure, printed on card stock. There are three different gift certificates, and whatever one that needs to be used can be placed in slits on the last panel. Check out the picture!
